After the huge success of the two installments of Sherlock Holmes, Warner Bross is gearing up for the third installment. Drew Pearce, who’s writing Downey’s Iron Man 3 film, has reportedly been tapped by Warner Bros. to begin work on the Holmes three sequel. Pearce is the mind behind the satirical superhero TV show No Heroics. Pearce is also working with director Shane Black on the screenplay for Marvel’s Iron Man 3; has been hired on by Paramount to write its DC comic book adaptation, The Mighty; and wrote the first script draft for Marvel’s (currently, on hold) Runaways movie, which could still come to fruition sometime after the release of The Avengers next year.
